I have a lot of experience dealing with the trades. The job is always usually behind schedule, the price always ends up being higher than quoted and I can always find problems in the end (big or small). None of these points describes this company. On time almost to the day, excellent communication, and the price came in identical to what I was quoted. Icing on the cake, zero problems at all. Impressed with how this company operates

Our basement was half finished by a guy we hired. He literally bailed 3 weeks after he started the job. Econo basement builders came and quoted the job, and started the project a couple weeks later since we explained we were on a very tight deadline. They finished 2 weeks ahead of the other guys original time quote. You get what you pay for, tough lesson learned for us. Econo saved us, no other way to describe it. Great Company to deal with. it’s to bad we moved away from calgary cause we need our basement done again.

I ended up getting tasked to help my father find someone to finish the basement in his rental property. We almost hired a gentleman off Kijiji but wow are we glad we didn't. After no returned phone calls for several days, and a million scheduling issues and price changes we decided to go through Econo Basements instead, best decision ever. They did a superb job! The best part is my dad couldn't find one thing wrong with the finishing so I gained some brownie points in the process.

We used Econo Basement Builders to develop our basement last year, and they were great to work with! Our basement was undeveloped and rough. Econo Basements renovated the space to exactly what we were looking for. We are out in Cochrane and there weren't many great options available in town or many who would come from Calgary without charging us a fortune.
I would highly recommend Econo Basement Builders and would most definitely use them again!!

I've been in the trades for close to 20 years now, and as a journeyman for the last 13. I ended up using Econo Basement Builders to finish off my basement. As a tradesman, naturally it was hard for me to allow myself to hire someone to come in, but I really just wanted to get it done quickly. Spare time is hard to come by, and as one person, a project involving so many different tasks/trades can really take a long time. Plus, a lot of the finishing work like taping and mudding, or setting tiles, I would prefer to have a pro do, rather than risk botching it up myself. I was really impressed with the fact that they actually finished the project before their promised deadline. In the trades world this almost never happens. I was expecting it to take about 30% longer than budgeted for time, and cost 30% more in the end, like most reno's tend to do. Plus, the workmanship was quite immaculate, and I'm happy with the way everything looks. The plumbing and electrical roughed in behind the drywall looked good as well and care was taken with it, which is important to me. Their subtrades were always happy, and positive when they showed up to work as well. I believed played a large role in their attention to the details. I would definitely recommend these guys. They're a pretty good crew, I would use them again.

Fall of 2020 we had Econo Decks tear down our old deck and build a new one 3 times the size. The results were amazing. It is like adding another living room onto the house. It is an upper deck so underneath is a closed in storage space. Jordon did an amazing job. I highly recommend Econo Decks.

We had 4 quotes to have our deck built, they were all in the same ballpark. We chose Econo Decks strictly on a gut feeling. It worked out well for us, started and finished exactly as quoted , and the communication was excellent. We were in the loop every step of the way. Not one issue through out the job, if you use these guys you won't be disappointed.

All contractors talk quality but Jordon at Econo decks and fencing actually delivers what was promised. Every one of my expectations from start to finish was delivered to the highest standard. If you need these services, call them, you will not be disappointed. Clearly this company deserves a higher than five stars rating!

We hired Econo to build us a deck and a fence. We had no clue what we wanted we just knew we wanted a deck and a fence. They designed it for us and it turned out fantastic. Good guys, good price, good company, nice people. We have already recommended them to several of our family and friends

They built a master bedroom balcony for us as well as put up railings on our back and front step stairs. The staff were friendly, engaging and efficient. From beginning to end the process was simple and easy to follow. I would easily recommend them for any deck project. My only issue was that they weren't the best at keeping me informed about when they would be working. As this was outside construction, this was less important and didn't detract from the overall impression of the company!

We have talked about expanding/rebuilding our deck since we bought our house 13 years ago. We finally decided to get it done this year. All of the quotes we got were very close to each other, but ultimately it came down to gut feeling. From the first initial meeting with Jordan it felt like Econo Decks was a company we could work with. Jordan did a great job at bringing our vision to reality. The job finished on time and on budget.
